Happy New Year!

Today is my last day off before returning to work. I will then work nine more days locally, with a weekend in between, and leave for Nottingham/Hucknall on January 14, 2007 for more remote contract work.

Katy and I will meet again when she changes airplanes in Heathrow for an Air Lingus jet bound for Dublin. I board this same airplane, and with a little Irish luck, we will be seated together.

We should arrive sometime in the late afternoon, (probably dark from latitude and season), and find our way to a bed, somewhere close to Dublin, perhaps close to the railway station (to Belfast, the next day), unless we choose to rent a car.

The only sure thing is the Van Morrison (8:00 PM) Concert in Belfast, on February 7, 2007. We have confirmed tickets, but so far, our tickets are not adjacent. Surely someone there will swap seats so we can sit together?!

We know we will board an airplane and be home by February 14, 2007. Valantine's Day!

Truly amazing! Baby's first vacation!

I'm buying a good digital camera and will be taking voluminous pictures. I'll share some edited versions one day.
