Dasher got her name, (after adoption), because of her tendency to "dash" from here to there, across the yard, up trees, around the yard, and then run madly some more, some place else.

Over the years she became much slower. Today her spirit runs free, but her body slowed to stop. She had a seditive before the lethal injection. Maybe that's where the euphemism comes from: "put to sleep".

She knew we loved her. We knew she loved us. Today she joined the garden she played in for so many years.

We will miss her.
