I read yesterday (When is Enough, Enough?) that MERELY SERVICING THE DEBT, (on this war that we are financing 100%, with Communist China as our bank), could cost upwards of $400 Billion Dollars! This doesn't even include what the (nonpartisan) Congressional Budget Office estimates to be the total cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan alone, over $2 Trillion Dollars in the next decade!

Sure, we outsource the debts, but at least we keep the profits at home, (in the blood-soaked hands of the big corporations and billionaires who perpetuate this war...). Nobody wins, but the oil keeps flowing!

So just play along, congress, and pretend there isn't anything you can do. Just go ahead and write the blank checks for bush. You could put a stop to it, but you won't.

Let's just not have any limits at all, shall we? Let's not debate whether we have insane people "leading" us. Let's pretend they aren't getting filthy rich on the backs (and the lives) of the working poor. (That would be unpatriotic to question the "authorities", right?)

No, let's go bankrupt as a Nation, financially and ethically and morally; let's mortgage our Great-Grandchildren's heritage! There! That should show everybody just how patriotic we are! (Well, at least long enough to get re-elected one more time, right, Mitt Rodham Giuliani?)
