2009-11-11 1:23 PM Happy Birthday, Brother Peter! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (2) Today, 11/11, is the Anniversary of the Birthday of my Brother, Peter. Although Peter never fought in any wars, never served in the military, he was a Veteran of the "War on Life". Peter was definitely on the side of "Life". He shined brightly to show others the way. He studied The Way and was a beacon in the night. (Can you still see the twinkle in his eye, as he laughed and loved Life?)
If you had met him, he could feel your pain. And your joys as well! He had tremendous Empathy, he was a recognized Empath, really. Peter was well-educated, had read thousands of books, and had a near-perfect memory, (which faded with age). He lived to teach and learn, to learn and teach. He wanted to pass on his knowledge, and did, to any who would learn. In my experience, he was quite open to learning from those around him, (although some might argue that point). Yes, he had faults. He could bear grudges. He was "secretive", at times, due to his "Scorpian Nature", or so he once told me. He was my Brother who I miss and wish were still here to share with, to talk to, to consult, to ask for ideas, (he was great with ideas!), to commiserate with, to laugh with, to cry with, to lament, to rant. (He was a Grand-Master Ranter! Or am I projecting, again?) I will tell you what just happened to me. I had a thought race through my head to simply end this blog with the name, Alice Light Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
