This morning, I heard a BBC panel discussion on the "Neuroscience of Happiness" with Dr Morten Kringelbach, wherein he said (paraphrased),
"Introspection upon happiness tends toward decreasing happiness. Therefore, the old singsong 'If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!' is counterproductive."
My immediate next thought was:
"If you're Enlightened, and you know it,
