One of my mottos in the last few years of my (current) life is, "Demand Enlightenment Now!"

It tickles me every time I see that statement in paintings and yard signs that I've made. I think it's funny because it isn't something you can demand now, is it? It's something that only (reputedly) comes to a very few humans.

We may as well say, "Demand Full Employment Now!", or maybe "Demand People Vote In Their Own Self-Interest Now!". There just aren't that many jobs out there and too many people needing them to achieve that instantly. And there are too many corporations who can "buy" people's votes with ubiquitous and repetitive lies.

To even begin in that direction, we need enlightened leaders, ones that really, truly worry about what's best for the American People, not just how to get re-elected. We will have to look objectively at our "Democracy", which is now an Oligarchic Fascist state. We need to overhaul a lot of things in America, and it won't happen by holding up a sign demanding it now.

My question to you is, "How do we find enlightened leaders? How do we convince them to run for office and how do we overcome the greed of corporations which will drown out The People's wishes with their shouts made of unlimited money?
