My last blog concerned Peter Hartman's ideas while he slept. I believe I read another one, as I was reading some old letters, which I present for comments from any Physics-type people that might read it...

Peter suggested that if, given that a photon cannot escape a black hole after entering the Event Horizon or the Schwarzschild Radius or something, directly up, (or out), from the center of the black hole, that if the photon were orbiting such that EVENTUALLY it would escape, then over time, there might be a "HALO" of photons that did escape!

Now, his letter is buried somewhere, or I would transcribe it, and I don't know if he ever discovered whether this was commonly accepted theory, or whether it was a new idea of his to humanity.

Anyone ever heard something like this before, or did Peter ever mention this to anyone else?
