2001-06-28 12:00 PM You Don't Know Jack! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Happy I am going to start out with what is currently on my mind (makes sense doesn't it) and work my way from there. My roomate suggested to me that I watch a brand new gameshow on TV called You Don't Know Jack, based on the popular computer trivia game. I was reluctant, been kinda jaded with today's Millionaire/Weakest Link variety of shows, and heard that Paul Rubens (Pee Wee Herman) was the host. 8:30 rolled around, I began watching and...
Oh.. My.. God.. The show was very strange and very funny. Paul Rubens (who actually goes by the host's name on the computer game) was really funny. He's not cruel, but he doesn't hold back on taking shots at people. The trivia is very random, and put together in a cool pop culture form. (It's really hard to explain more unless you are familiar with the computer game) but there was all sorts of stuff going on. The show began with a story about him finding a ring that was cursed. Throughout the show things were happening to him, a light almost fell on him, and he was attacked by ninjas. The brought out an opera singer for one of the questions, to sing a note, and they had to say what the note was (REALLY random trivia I tell ya) and then the Trojan Marching Band comes in for the last part of the show. It was crazy man! Well, back to work for now... I'll have to come back and check out Kenny's new feature for multiple entries per day. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
