Tryin to get in a little journal writing while finally getting my lunch break. It's been crazy busy over here and unusually loud customers. So far the trend seems to be that customers think that if they threaten to cancel their accounts they will be helped so much sooner than normal. *sigh* Oh well. I understand getting frustrated if your problem takes forever to resolved, but threatening at a drop of a hat, or screaming for management is really no way to conduct yourself.

I made dinner for Misty and Dennis last night. It turned out very well and they appeared to like it a lot. Dennis goes back to Austrailia very soon so that is the last I will see of him for quite some time. I really would like to visit Austrailia at some point, and attending school there at some point too seems interesting, especially if I could finish a masters quickly or something.

My apartment is a happy place now. I cleaned and organized all weekend. My TV is REALLY BIG for my small place. Lets just hope that our parents were wrong when they told us not to sit that close to the TV. I kinda don't have a choice.

I showed Iron Giant to Misty and Dennis. They had never seen it before and adored it. I admit, it's a touching movie, very cute.

I am now going to keep my place a lot more organized and just plain spiffy, and invite people over more often.

So, as I sit here eating my yummy chips and when almost done with the bag notice that it's 10 grams of fat per serving, but the little bag is supposed to be 2.5 servings, I've realized that along with resolving to eat healthier, that I need to also resolve to not be so obsessed with food and weight and self image, as it really doesn't help much.

Woo hoo! It's Monday! First Kareoke night of 2002! Plannin on trying out our new RENT and Producers kareoke CDs. (Yes, not only are we regulars, but we've purchased our own Kareoke CDs for the stuff that we really want to sing)
