I don't feel like I've accomplished much at all this week but I guess I've done fairly well. Got to the gym last night, had wild karaoke fun Monday, dodged a cold (although Erik's comin down with something now), turned in my weekly report ON TIME (woo hoo!), and made customers happy, at least, for now.
I was hoping to have gone to the gym at least two times this week, but I think I kinda hurt my knee Sunday (slipped in the bathroom and slammed it against the counter) so I wasn't going to push it. It is much better now, I think it liked the workout last night which was leg work, but low impact and no running. Probably just a bruise, it doesn't hurt at all now. I've been tracking my exercize and food intake ever since I started with a personal trainer about a month ago, and have a little checkbook like notebook to track it all in. The problem is that it is kinda bulky. Rowan and Marshall showed me www.fitday.com, which is basically the same thing, but online, with calculators and everything. It's really cool. I'm going to start using that. One thing that I've been trying to accomplish for a while now is my belated wedding present for Kenny and Jenn. Their first anniversary is on March 2nd. Traditionally, if you couldn't give a gift at a wedding, you have a year to do so before it's really very late. My first and second attempts at making something cool for them did not turn out at all. (I haven't yet mastered the skill required for the idea) I've had a few other ideas for what to do for them (and yes I know they're reading this too) but really, none have measured up for what I wanted yet. I was going to try to make something different, but it's so not going to be done by Sunday. Happy Anniversary guys! Hope all the years that follow are as blissful as the first! So, more work for today, yoga class tonight, gotta pick up some medicine for Erik on my way home, then will probably have a comfortable evening continuing Season 2 Buffy and working on my taxes. I didn't really get interested in the show until after it was on for quite some time, and still go in and out of keeping up with it, but Erik had apparently not seen any episodes of the first few seasons, and has been going through them in order. He's really enjoying them. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
