Instead I find out that I report to a different boss. Another one that I have never spoken to, met, emailed, anything. Just plum dandy... (plum dandy? where the hell did that one come from?) Slowly getting over my nasty cought that I've had for like a week now. Gotta hit Rite Aid for more stuff when I get a chance to do so. My weekend went fairly well. I ran my vamp game on Saturday, it started a bit late, and was a bit small (7 PCs showed up, and there were 3 NPCs including myself) but we had fun and surprisingly my plot has evolved exactly as I had hoped. I was getting worried when it was 9 and at that point had 4 PCs present. The players told me they had fun though. Sunday was a cleaning/organizing day (should have been laundry day but didn't quite get to that) and an evening of music. Went to The Gig to see my friends Belinda and Sheldon in their band Ockham's Razor. The have a great sound. The Gig messed up the mixing a little, but they are really good and everyone should check them out. After they went on, we talked to them for a bit outside, giving praise, critiques, and suggestions, CoyoteCoyote and I poked our heads back in to catch a few songs from the next band Wicked Wisdom, with Jada Pinkett-Smith as the lead singer. They totally rocked, although they lost some points when their PR guy was passing out their demos as Ockham's Razor got started. They have a good rock sound though, so I'll probably check them out again at their next gig. Well, back to work, and by work I mean catching up with the customers who were ignored over the weekend while my team was out, and trying to communicate with my new boss.
