Events so far this morning:

I realized that I threw away my receipt for Two Towers Special Ed. This wouldn't be a problem if the secod disc wasn't defective. It crapped out just before Chapter 49/50ish. Grumble grumble. Fortunately Lisa thinks that she still has hers and will let me use it to make a swap at Waldenbooks, but she doesn't have it with her.

I spent almost half an hour preparing my lunch last night, packed it nicely in my insulated lunch bag, and promptly forgot it this morning. At least it is sitting in the refrigerator as opposed to on the counter. I was really looking forward to it too.

I was talking to a neighbor of mine who I used to ride the bus with all the time, but had not seen for a few months. In the middle of hte conversation he comes up with "So I see you're pregnant!" and pats my fucking tummy! WTF mister! You barely even know me! What a way to embarass someone who is already self concious about the weight she has gained. Of course, I explained that it was just gained weight and laughed it off. He didn't even apologize. I guess that's motivation to get back into the gym, which I can do, now that I have my busses back.

*sigh*

At least I'm starting my day at 26,200 words with knowledge that I'm going to have a lot of spare time to work on the novel today.
