Wrap your brain around the latest antic in Bush's further attempt to gain votes! Now, I do not currently have a political affiliation, as I am still learning a lot about politics, and have been trying to be very objective in doing so. I will be voting for the first time ever this coming presidential election, and am still recovering from many years of determined neutrality due to religious reasonings. But honestly, this is WAY CRAP! Bush is now, for all intents and purposes, a fucking spammer. I don't even think he realizes this, because he might actually believe he is "reaching out" but what someone needs to drill into his head is that the world HATES spammers.
Something else posted from a journal, today... Increasing Refusal of Doctors and Pharmacists to perscribe and dispense The Pill Now, I disagree with this for several reasons. The first is, if someone wants to take a preventative measure in not having to deal with unwanted pregnancy or abortion, then they should be given every right to do so. We still have too much of this happening with The Pill being availible, and I do not see this helping that problem. Second is this, and I know guys prolly don't dig hearing about feminine issues, but whatever. I was put on the pill way before I was even having sex because my periods were way too close together and it was causing me medical problems. It worked brilliantly, and helped me function better as a student and at work. If I am ever denied this treatment, I will be furious. I think women who choose to be on the pill are taking a very responsible step in their life choices.
Okay, off of the soap box with those.
R.I.P. Marlon Brando, died yesterday at age 80.
Still haven't seen F 9/11 or Spiderman 2, among the other things on my list of things to do.
The show opens in 6 days. Holy Crap!
