con·ceal Pronunciation Key (kn-sl) tr.v. con·cealed, con·ceal·ing, con·ceals To keep from being seen, found, observed, or discovered; hide. See Synonyms at hide Antonym: The dude carrying a gun across from me on the Red Line last night... He never brandished it, and didn't look "shady" as far as I could tell, but when I glance around while I sit on the Red Line going to the theater, the last thing I want to do is see a matt black handgun in a holster under a jacket. I didn't look at his face, because I didn't want to make eye contact and have my eyes say "Dude, I just saw your gun. WTF man!" and I was sure my face would have said just that. He was dressed nice, black slacks, button up shirt, nice jacket. Chances are he was a cop or something. I told MTA once I left the train. So, yesterday I was in two rehearsals at once. It was the first rehearsal for the show I am directing (the 11 word title that I'm not going to look up at the moment), and one of the final dress rehearsals for What The Butler Saw where I had to be on book and watching. Thank goodness WTBS second cast opens Thursday night. It will mark two weeks before my show opens, and therefore a break from rehearsals. I really really like being hella busy, but sometimes... I stack too many things on myself. Lunch Plans: make notes in my script, catch up on some bills that I haven't paid simply because I have been busy and overlooked them, and call DMV to schedule next (and hopefully final) drive test) so I can actually have my liscence before getting my registration renewal, etc. It will be nice to be able to go get it smogged all by myself. :) C'est la vie pour moi!
