2005-12-29 11:23 AM Bandits, Birds, Resolutions, and Vegas Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Contemplative Read/Post Comments (1) Leaving work in half an hour, because my company was rad and gave us a half day on top of Friday and Monday off, two weeks in a row.
Leaving for Vegas a couple hours after that. It will probably be quite a drive, but it will be nice in the rental car that has a CD Player. :) Plans on a couple of shows and meeting up with a couple of people while we're there. Made out like a total bandit, me and Erik both (he got cool birthday stuff too) for Christmas. I feel so spoiled, and think that people spent way too much money on me. Among the books and stuff I got a faux fur coat that is gorgeous, and a digital camera, and first season of Twilight Zone (which I LOVE), a game, and silver stuff with my name engraved in it. The list is longer, but as I don't have very long to make this entry I'm just including highlights. Although now it looks like I'll have to re-learn how to knit. I got some knitting needles and knitting books. The books have instructions, but I totally forgot how to begin, and what the terms mean. Maybe I'll hit up Adam for a lesson or two. Yesterday, as I was walking home, in that same area where I saw the stork, there was a half dozen little bright green and yellow parrots hopping around in a tree. They were so cute. I had no idea that there were wild birds that pretty around here. Again, I forgot that I had my camera phone, and have not yet put together my digital camera. But I think I'm going to have my camera out at all times when I'm walking around there. I was going to include my New Years resolutions in this entry, but I don't think I have them specific enough to my liking. I don't want something too vague or too broad that I will forget about or break and then pass off as silly. I want clear goals. Once I'm clear on my goals, I'll post them. In the mean time, I'll think and write them down (as I won't be online in Vegas) on my new Moleskine notebook. (I got it for Christmas. I simply love these things, but never can bring myself to pay so much for a notebook on my own) Anyways. Happy New Years to All! *hugs and kisses* Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
