...6 days after I turned 28.

...National Gorilla Suit Day.
...The day before two very full and possibly two of the busiest weeks here at work so far.
...Free Movie Screening Day (Stranger Than Fiction).
...Oscar Nominations Day.
...Probably my last post of the month.

So, with that being said, here are a few highlights from the past week or so since we last spoke...
(Have I over used ... today or what?)

Birthday was lovely. Many friends, many gifts, great food. I got stuff from Lush that I LOVE. I got Heelys and a Blowtorch! (which I have promised not to use at the same time) I got other stuff too. My friends are awesome!

Weekend was spent mostly with my sister. Saturday I went out there in the morning to help her get things set up for her Passion Party (think Tupperware party but with more adult oriented items, done tastefully mind you) and Sunday we headed out to Pasadena to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. It was very fun, and it was nice to have a weekend free that coincided with Misty's days off.

After yesterday, it has become pretty apparent that there's no way I'm getting out of work early next Friday for SWRE (game con in San Fran). So unless something happens and Thursday and Friday wind up being extremely smooth sailing at work (not very likely) it looks like I'll have to skip the con. It's a bummer, but not exactly devastating.

My list of things to do in February:
...Meet with production company folks at least three times.
...Learn to ride my Heelys (need to get my Dex to at least two or three dots so I don't fall down)
...Organize my stuff.
...Take another crack at the whole get in shape/eat right concept.
