Actually, the Ides of April is what I really need to beware of. I have not even begun to actually do my taxes. No clue wether I owe or get anything back. One month away. Even though I have a sister that has been doing taxes professionally for as long as I can remember I've always been one to do them for myself. So, Rock of Ages... tomorrow... Yay! I got on the guest list so we're getting in for free. The show moves to Vegas soon and closes this weekend. I LOVED this show and can't wait to see it again. 3.25 miles yesterday, plus stretching from my Pilates book and my Firefighter's Workout book, that I totally forgot I even had. I'll probably just do Pilates or Yoga on my off days, as it is simply too hard to hold a lot of those poses once my muscles are tired from running. I'll stick to basic stretches after runs and the cross-training machine, which I'm actually liking better because there is no impact. Watched The Aristocrats last night. Wow. Just wow. I was in awe at exactly how far a joke can go. It was facinating. Never seen anything quite like it. Not for sensitive ears. Tonight will be watching Lost. Possibly getting other stuff done too, and hopefully a bit of reading as I yet again left the house with no book. I feel really good today. Last night was the first time in a long time that I can even remember that I have both gotten to bed reasonably early and slept through the night. I regularly do not sleep through the night, as most of you know. Sometimes I sleep better than others, but I generally deal with a variation of "tossing and turning" to a simple "wake up, look around, check the clock, go back to sleep fairly quickly" to "being woken up while sleepwalking". Last night between the exercise and melatonin from Trader Joe's and allowing myself more hours to sleep, it all helped. I can generally function rather well with little sleep, but it is nice to get a good night's sleep sometimes. My doctor quit, decided to take some time off to have a kid or something. I got assigned to another doctor that I'll have to go to before getting any sort of refill on my sleep meds, that I only occaisionally take and am almost out of. Overdue for a dentist appointment too. Just got reccomended to a good one out here in Santa Monica. Will be calling him soon. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
