2006-03-29 10:51 AM On with the show this is it! :) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Read/Post Comments (3) So I woke up stuffy.
And I said BE GONE WITH YOU YOU EXPLETIVE STUFFINESS! And I came to work. And I had super potent vitamin C drink. And I had spicy chicken soup from the vending machine. And I had some hot Chai. And LO! I am CLEAR! (but not in the Scientological sense) I swear, everyone around me is sick or has recently been sick. Sinus infections seem to be common over this and last month. I feel fine and it is going to stay that way. Wow, it's already Wednesday. How did that happen? I haven't even written about my weekend yet. Saturday was Theater Meeting! Yay! Erik and Jennifer were unable to attend, but I had a long talk with Lindy at Hamburger Hamlet, and we decided to have another meeting this Thursday (tomorrow) to really get down to moving forward on some things. Werewolf LARP Saturday night was pretty fun. Didn't get as much done as we wanted to do initially, but there was much to do. It went late, and dinner afterwards apparently went way later, but I was able to get home by like 1, 1:30. Got a little bit of sleep before... Hiking Fiasco! Weeeee! Okay, I've never been one who was really good with directions. And I thought that I knew which hike we were going on, and thought that I had done that hike before, I was totally wrong. Bright and early start out (well, not so bright for Nick, but he had done some Eagle Scout stuff for his brother the day before which included wheelbarrows filled with rocks up and down mountain trails) and after the confusion with where to be, and obviously missing the rest of the Hike The Geek group, we just decided that we were going to hike by ourselves. So up the mountain (Mt. Lowe) we went. 3 miles up. We brought snacks for resting at the top, and saw a buncha cool railway ruins up there. Then 3 miles back. Then rest in the car. Then home. I had planned on getting a few things done between hiking and Scriptease (strip improv comedy folks, it's what the cool kids are doing these days) but tiredness and The Lone Gunmen won. I got a bit more set up with the turtle tank and the bathroom cleaned up a bit. The turtles need more furniture. This week has been fairly busy here at work. Big divisional meetings. Smaller meetings. Stuff breaking. And tomorrow we get to go downtown to check out the new data center. Okay, back to work says I. :) Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
