Enjoy the ride. Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. 2004-07-16 2:48 PM This Week I am on a mission to lose the weight from the pregnancy. So, I got up every morning at 5:15 and walked with my neighbor, Esther, from 6:30 - 7:30. The baby comes along in his stroller. I am so out of shape, that I was huffing and puffing the first couple of days.
So far, after walking this week, I have lost 2 pounds. Did I mention that I have an extra 7 pounds on me after my trip down south? I fell victim to the delightful sin of cold Oreos and Nutter Butters! Tom left them in the fridge for us while they were gone. How thoughtful - not! LOL I had never had Nutter Butters - they were addicting - couldn't stop - ugh. And I guess splurging on all that fattening fast food didn't help any either. So, now it is back to the grind stone. I didn't want to walk at first, but I found that I feel terrific afterward. I even notice the effects throughout the rest of the day. And it seems like I get a lot more done after walking. I have been busy all week. I got a great phone call yesterday. One of my clients wants to sell his property I sold him because of a change in his circumstances. So, he would like me to list it for him. Yay. My first lisitng. I get to put the signs up, advertise it, etc. Very exciting. I am hoping to put the property up on a website that Joel is going to make for me. Have to put that boy to work! :-) I want to create a website for all of my real estate stuff. We'll see how it goes.
