Enjoy the ride. Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. 2004-08-16 9:57 PM Weekend at Kelly's Grandma Doris and I went over to the bay area this weekend to see my Aunt Kelly and Uncle Ron and my Cousin Jarrod and wife Lacy. We had a wonderful time! Kelly fixed a delicious dinner of YUMMY shish kebabs, rice, corn on the cob, and the most incredible spinach salad! We played cards, ate yummy food, gabbed lots and made over the baby - all my favorite things!!!
Oh! Kelly let me drive her beautiful, sleek, black convertible Corvette! Lacy and I took it to the store to get some wine and boy what a fun drive it was. It just begged to go faster and faster. I was good. But, I had to make a couple of yellow lights, from half a block away! It was way too easy to do! hee hee And we got all kinds of looks from the boys. Way fun! Grandma stayed the night at Jarrod and Lacy's. I stayed the night at Kelly and Ron's. They went church and introduced Grandma to a Hot, 70 year old, retired pilot Sunday morning. We went to breakfast for some fantastic Juevos Rancheros and visited lots more. Then I met Jarrod, Lacy, and Grandma for lunch in San Jose where we drank Margaritas on an outdoor patio and gabbed some more. After lunch, Grandma and I made our way home. We hit lots of traffic but were glad we made the effort to go. Before we left, I was stressed about various work things. And after, I felt so refreshed. It was such a nice time!
