Enjoy the ride. Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. 2005-03-16 10:25 PM One vs.Two I have nothing terribly interesting to say. Just hum drum daily routines. I've been taking my son to daytime activities. And I've been working when I have babysitters available.
I babysat my Aunt and Uncle's 2-year-old baby for 3 days last week while they got some time away. Wow, that was a lot of work. The boys play together really well. But they take constant attention! Not to mention that everything is in twos - 2 diapers, 2 outfits, 2 sippy cups, 2 highchairs, 2 car seats and so on and so on. I have more sympathy for those mothers with 2 little ones. It is hard enough to work with one child. Two would be impossible. And yet, I'm sure there are women that have to. My heart goes out to them! I took them for a walk, pulling them in a great little plastic, red wagon my uncle got for them. It has two seats facing each other with little seat belts. The older one, Spencer sat still, happily watching everything we went by. Allex didn't ever sit completely still. After a few minutes, he was trying to reach over and grab rocks. Or he would take his hat on and off. Or he would just fiddle with whatever he could find. He was good, but it was just funny to see the difference in the personalities. I've got a little "Stuart" for sure! :-) Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
