Enjoy the ride. Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. Mood: So-So Read/Post Comments (2) FAVORITE WORDS TO LIVE BY: |
2005-04-17 9:23 AM Stuart Lingo I wanted to put the mood in my last entry as "poopy". I decided not to because it was an inside term that our family used. Everyone else might not see the humor in it. However, it reminded me of all of Stuart's lingo. I use them occasionally without thinking. Then they remind me of him. Gravy was a popular one. Beefed it was another. I used that one yesterday when Allex slipped on the tile floor. Poopy was one we would say with a pout for something disappointing.
Sometimes, a phrase from a movie would catch on, like Helllooo from "City Slickers". Or an imitation of an actor like Christopher Walken, who said with a shrug, "Whatever we want". A lot of times they were collaborations between Stuart and Scooter. They both had a knack for nicknames and playful catch phrases. There are too many to remember at one time. But I've noticed now that not everyone does that. It's one of those special things that can't be replaced. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
