I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42 | ||

Mood: Satisfied with Life Read/Post Comments (1) |
2003-02-06 10:17 AM Chicago, Ducks, and the Caretaker I'm listening to the Chicago Soundtrack. Chicago was an incredible movie. Queen Latifa rocks!!! I love musicals, and this could easily be my favorite movie musical since White Christmas.
I've been feeling less than happy living in the Marina, largely because of it's distance from every other aspect of my life. This morning, however one of the caretakers at my complex said, "Running Late this morning?" This was very cool. I see him Monday, Wednsday, and Friday 8am sharp as I head out to lift before work. We always smile and say high, but it's nice to know that I've become part of someone else's life. Driving between Washington and Venice, I often have to stop for a family of ducks to cross. I hadn't seen this in a while, and it brought a smile to my face today. "When you're good to mama, Mama's good to you." Steven Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
