I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42 | ||

2003-07-13 6:41 PM Fire Fire Fire I caught up with Fusion and Sapphire and some other fire performers [addition 11:50pm a handfull of these guys were there. Very cool people.] at a party yesterday. I saw some pretty wild fire breathing and such, and got a chance to play with some fire myself :)
There was a lot of talk about the dangers of fire manipulation and the disurbing fact that many fire performers have little knowledge of the dangers. I heard some pretty wild stories. It was amazingly similar to sitting around with a group of Hwarangdo students discussing accidents and injuries, except with skimpier clothing and the fire... I'm quite sore from the grappling matches on Saturday, but it's wonderful to actually have a few techniques that I know how to perform from all the various positions. It takes a while to internalize the dynamics of a grappling match. Things move slower than in a sparring match, and thus there is a lot more thinking involved. Right now I'm doing some work on Hwarangdo.net and listing some Fighting Styles videos on eBay. Oops. Forgot to submit this, so I'll add one more thing...I seem to never remember these things in time, but this tempts me actually complete a story.
