I've had a this strang thing that keeps happening. I think of something witty to say, but I have a strong desire to say it in another language, so I don't say it. I've all of a sudden gotten mentally obsessed with learning languages. Not that I'm doing anything about it. I don't know where to start. I specifically don't want to work on one particular language. I want to do something so that I know dozens in a few years... I've never really written anything in another language, and I want to. I want to translate random things. I want to make more international friends. I want... phhhbt

on a slightly different note, I'm reading a book called Zen and the art of Postmodern Philosophy. I can't stop thinking about disruption in language. I don't understand it enough to describe it, but it involves lots of monks shouting nonsense and hitting each other. I never knew philosophy could be so violent...
