I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42 | ||

2004-02-06 2:56 PM Whedon Fix In Joss Whedon's commentary on Restless (The last episode of Season 4) he mentions that the 'uber buffy' from the previous episode was influenced by Alan Moore's Promethea. Don't quote me on that, but it reminded me that I had more Alan Moore to read. So, I ordered Promethea book 1 from amazon. I also ended up discovering Fray and getting it as well. Fray is a comic written by Joss about a Slayer in the future. Both arrived today. They should hold me over until Angel season 3 arrives next week.
On a totally different note, Rob, my cousin, and I had a "discussion" about The Return of the King the other day. He disliked it for many reasons, mostly involving "those little people." Also "racism," "no build before the battles" and "The Elephants." I mention this solely, because he just let me know that he'll be going to a screener of it with Peter Jackson and some of the cast next week. Hopefully that will result in something interesting to talk about. Hmmm. all for now. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
