Saturday I played Civilization, with some friends. It was an all day event, with much in the way of Thanksgiving leftovers. I had a blast. Jenn won.

I woke up this morning and decided to read the book my cousin had left by the bed. I'm watching his dog while he and his wife are in Mexico. After reading it I decided to update my what I'm reading page. Not suprisingly, I've been reading a lot about go. I still have more books to add. I've read the first four Harry Potter books in the last few months.

The book my cousin left for me was Slaughterhouse - Five, by Kurt Vonnegut. The Tralfamadorians tell us to "Ignore the awful times, and concentrate on the good ones." Ignore the horrors of war past, future, and present, and concentrate on the good times. Of course, they think free will is silly...
