I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42 | ||

Escape Pod is still my default, and will most likely continue to be until I'm up-to-date, but I have the following waiting in the wings on my iPod:
This is the part of the journal entry where I actually talk about what I chose as the title of this entryI Should Be Writing is a podcast for wanna-be fiction writers, by a wanna-be fiction writer. I'm pretty much alternating between episodes of this feed and episodes of escape pod, as I somehow managed to get them pacing each other chronologically. I just listened to the first anniversary podcast for ISBW.I really like Mur's insights, and her show provides quite the mantra for anyone actually trying to write. I actually wake up in the morning with story ideas ... This has happened before, but sporadically. It looks like my bedtime may have to creep forward an hour or so, so that I can get some of these ideas down. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
