To get to the food bank this morning, we were up by 5 a.m. This gives Michael time to brew a pot of coffee. Me, I'm fussy. The best part of getting up this early was seeing the moon in all her glory.

The second best thing: We got some good provisions at the food bank.

The third best thing, the calla lily I transplanted into a pot has one but that is about to flower.

The fourth best thing: Taking a nap in the afternoon, and

The fifth best thing, Michael's spaghetti and doctored up spaghetti sauce.

All in all, it was a pretty good day.
