Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279669 Curiosities served |

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "I am closer to the work than to anything on earth. That's the marriage." - Louise Nevelson Here's more. Nevelson sounds like an intriguing woman and someone I would like to have as a friend. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Music of the Day: -- Mark Chesnutt - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing Days meditating: 3 Drinking: Water; Safeway Select Evening Delight tea ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The sun is shining this morning when I wake up. Bailey comes along and gives me kitty kisses. The first time around I ignore him and he leaves me alone. I did meditate this morning. Another morning of fighting monkey mind; I say fighting when I mean I acknowledged my thoughts and would bring myself back to the moment. As soon as I would drop my shoulders, my mind would be back to what ever is worrying me. Okay I am not in a writing mood today. I'm not sure why this is. Maybe I jinxed myself when I wrote yesterday that I had no trouble writing for the past two days. Yesterday Mr. T brought over a roasting pan for Thursday. Tomorrow we will get our turkey from the food bank. Then this morning he brought over a turkey holder which the turkey will be embraced with while in the pan. I guess we will be ready for turkey day come hell or high water. Which high water could be the case because the meteorologists are predicting rain for Thursday. Won't that be a lark with everyone traveling here and there and they have to contend with the rain. I don't seem to be filled with stories or words of wisdom so I will leave you with two quotes I found this morning while surfing the 'Net. "If you hate your work, leave. If you hate your hate, leave that too." - Buddhist proverb "The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your own arm." - Swedish proverb mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- "Taltos" - Anne Rice -- "The Daily Book of Art/356 readings that teach, inspire & entertain" - day 56 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
