Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279716 Curiosities served |

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Ideas have come from the strangest places." - Joyce Carol Oates ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Today, I chose to stay home instead of going with Michael to the storage unit. He sounded a little huffy when I said no. I am learning to be okay when my choices go against what he wants to do. Besides in reference to going with him, I went three times this week. I decided today to work on my home organization and things I needed to do around the house. My BIG project was to get our financial filing system in order. I needed to move all of the 2011 files into the expanding file. Some of it I will need to get to when we have our financial review in September for our Section 8 Housing. Plus, I have stacks of paper on the counter, the stool to the counter, on the dining room table and a dining room chair. All of this is in various states of - oh what word could I use - having my attention. I really need to go through all of this to pull out the bills and create this month's budget. While reviewing paperwork, I have also been reading and responding to e-mail in one of my e-mail accounts. This all takes time. I really need to focus here. Besides, filing and taking care of e-mail, I prepared a new litter box for Bailey and washed his used one. The box is now outside drying in the sun. Then I washed my hand-wash laundry and they are now outside drying. My last project was me and with that I took a shower and got ready for the day; although, the day was by now 2 p.m. in the afternoon. I am finishing up bringing order to my files and have begun filing 2012 receipts. My mind is mush but there is a small amount of order in my little corner of the dining room. Oh, and lets not forget that while I am working in cramped quarters of stacks of papers, I move my chair just so and I end up knocking over Bailey's water dish. Oh my! So, the dining room floor gets a partial wash. I think I am done for today. mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- " Kill Me if You Can" with Marshall Karp --" Swimsuit" with Maxine Paetro -- "Living, Loving & Learning" - Leo Buscaglia, Ph.D. -- "The Daily Book of Art/356 readings that teach, inspire & entertain" - day 102 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
