One just doesn't know what one will see while out walking the streets of Los Osos. For today's entertainment I saw several chickens walking and pecking in the dirt on the side of the road. I had to take a photo. As I walked, there was a woman working in her yard and I stopped to tell her about the chickens. Come to find out there were hers. She said that when she works in the front yard, she lets them out. I inquired about how she rounded them up at the end of the day. She shared that usually after about an hour, they all come back home and are ready to go back into their area. She also said their eggs were mighty good too. Boy, if I didn't live in an apartment, I would have some chickens. Anyway, here is a photo of two of the fowls I saw.



While on my walk on Sunday, I visited the small Sage Eco Gardens and Nursery and found these mosaic rocks. I thought Bex at Thoughts from Crow Cottage would like to see these. I'm not sure what I would do with one. I can see someone who collected rocks might like one for their collection.



My day has been busy and when I finally quit, I had to take a nap. Now I will probably stay up way too late because of it. Oh well.
