Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

"This moment is all that is guaranteed - use it to express the depth of your love and to wipe your slate clean of any resentment you are holding on to. Life is too precious to carry the weight of the past with you! Let it go and start to grow!" - Jackson Kiddard, author

After all the sunshine the past few days, it is overcast and a cool day. It is almost noon and the marine layer is still present. So I expect it will be this way for the rest of the day. No, wait a minute; I believe I am seeing a ray of sunshine. I just may be surprised.

I had not planned for a busy day but it is beginning to look like one.

To begin with:

1. I was up at 6 a.m., dressed and out the door to put my bags down for the food bank.
2. Back home, I meditated for 30 minutes.
3. Since I took a bath last night, I brushed hair and teeth, and applied make-up.
4. Fed the cat.
5. Checked my blood glucose.
6. Breakfast: Rice Chex, strawberries and a cup of milk.
7. On the way to the food bank, I stopped and retrieved my scripts from the pharmacy, purchased canned cat food and toilet paper.
8. Arrive at the food bank on time. Oh boy, we got some good stuff.
9. Put away provisions.
10. Sweep walkway.
11. Water plants in front.
12. Type up inventory of literature on hand and send to former literature chair for her wisdom on what needs to be ordered.
13. Send e-mail updating chairwoman on what is happening.
14. Balance checkbook.
15. Pay bills.

I think that is about enough for one day, don't cha think?

"I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again." - William Penn, English entrepreneur and philosopher
