I have to give labs today in preparation for my doctor's appointment on Thursday. The last I ate was prior to 10 p.m.

Upon waking, I take no water, medications, or food.

The one nice thing is the lab is two streets over from where I live and I can walk there.

Once there I hand over my documentation only to find out that the lab has been purchased by someone else and they don't accept my insurance.

I am told there is another lab, associated with the hospital I have to go to and my doctor's office works through, over on the street closest to me. Only, they are closed on Mondays.

Hrumph!

I walk over to that office and sure enough they are closed. I tried calling the phone number but no one answers and I learn nothing about the other offices in the area. The only thing I learn is they are open on Tuesday and Thursdays.

I head for home because at the original lab they said there was a lab in Morro Bay. I called that office and was told they were open until noon.

Michael and I discussed which would be easier: wait until Tuesday or drive to Morro Bay and get it done. I was already fussy and decided I would like to drive to Morro Bay and be done with it.

I get there and there is a waiting line.

More hrumphing!

But, I intend to have this little to do done and I will wait. When I was called in, I had a very nice lady and we found we had lots to talk about and that made my irritating morning worthwhile.

Now I am home and trying to get recentered but I'm not sure with the say I feel. At least tomorrow is a new day.
