Yes, I survived Thanksgiving. This is quite something else after the last few years when I was barely here and not much help.
This year, I'm not sure what was different whether it was the change in my medications or my music therapy (and I didn't listen to music at all yesterday).
I was ready to do my part and to help out where needed. I kept up on the kitchen so when we arose this morning, the kitchen didn't look like a bomb had gone off in there. All that needs to be done is to mop the kitchen floor. We kept a paper towel down to wipe up the immediate spills but still a good wash is what is needed.
The left over food is as good if not better than yesterday. We especially liked the pie and ice cream. Nothing like homemade stuff.
Today is a very relaxing day as we do our thing. A few phone calls or texts. I have had my nose in my book. I'm back to reading 10 pages and then get up to do something around the house.
My chore today was to organize our CDs alphabetically. Whoo hoo, what a job. I wasn't sure I would have enough space for all of them. In the past, I have always kept our CDs separate but after this many years, it doesn't make since anymore.
Well, I am off to get ready for my meeting. My only outing for the day.
