Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279986 Curiosities served |

Waxing Gibbous Moon in Gemini > Cancer/12:06 p.m. PST ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." - Helen Keller ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I hope everyone had the holiday of their dreams. Our holiday was quiet as we like it. Since I get to celebrate Yule and Christmas I have to pace myself. I have to watch what I am eating and how much celebrating I do. Most of my energy goes into Yule and so I open a few presents on that day and then I open the rest on Christmas. With regard to the New Year, I don't know whether I will be awake at the hour. My desire is to cook the ham and other side dishes and then clean up. Then settle in front of the TV and watch our DVDs. If I'm lucky I will see the New Year in, kiss my hubby and go to bed. Today have the sounds of roadwork being done. I wonder when they put the backup beepers on tractors and such. That sound is more annoying than the sounds of the equipment. I know it is for safety precautions and I'm grateful but enough already. Well, I smell a late lunch in the works so cheerio. mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- "Possession - A Romance" - A. S.
