Words-of-Mine

Here it is, July 4th. My how times pass so quickly. Are you doing anything special?

We are going to a barbecue later this afternoon. Michael is going to be the guest chef at the grill. Our friend lives on a hill so I assume we will be able to see the fireworks in Morro Bay if the clouds stay out of the way.

Usually we keep to ourselves. Do a small barbecue and watch the specials on the telly, but not this year.

I'm not much for a group of people and playing games but I guess I can get through it with the aid of my anxiety medication. Besides, I can have Michael drive me home if it becomes too much for me.

It's nice out today and it is nice to have the windows and slider open. I'll take my overshirt with me so if it gets cool later tonight I can put that on.
