Hello everyone. We are having rain today. Finally. Luckily for me I was able to get out between the storms and get my walk in. This made me very happy. It will also mean I won't have to water the plants for a few days.

Well, three more games for the World Series. Oh I do hope the Red Soxs win in it. I didn't listen to the game (should have) last night because me and Mr. F were watching Sunday Night Football.

It was the Packers vs. the Vikings. The game began evenly enough but the Packers got their feet under them and the first downs were coming along like flap jacks. Ponder, the Vikings' quarterback seemed to have trouble deciding where to throw the ball. The end score was 44 to 31. Not that I am a died in the wool Packer fan, I just liked them out of the two.

What little I have seen of the news there is still haranguing over the health care glitch and the fact the U.S. was caught spying. Well, aren't they all doing it?

The fun of this weekend was we tried out our free trial of Netflix. It was okay but their selection of movies was not that great. We watched from the futon in the living room and it wasn't very comfortable. I feel if we should ever do it again, we will watch from the dining room table where I generally have my computer, much more comfortable and easier to see with these old eyes.

The rain, real rain, just stopped and the air is so fresh. The rain gauge has moved some not quite a quarter of an inch.

Can't believe this is the last week of the month. People are getting ready for Halloween.
