Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.280116 Curiosities served |
2013-11-03 10:40 AM Ugh, Time Change Again Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (5) Once again my biannual rant of the time change. I will say no more other than I'm not happy about it.
I've walked six days this week. I'm finding it does improve my mood for the day and I've lost one pound. Yesterday was get together with friends day. It began for me with brunch with a dear friend Lady C, we went for brunch. I had a delicious smoked salmon omelet with avocado slices. This was followed by a walk around the nursery next door where we oohed and aahed over plant groupings and fountains. Then we went to the Sweet Springs Nature Preserve and walked out to the point facing the Back Bay and watched the water birds feed in the shallows. Then it was time to go. It was such fun as we don't get to see each other all that often so this time for me is precious. Dinner was with another friend and had Oriental food. Yum. We had lots of laughs and full stomachs. We even brought home left overs so I'm looking forward to that, what I had was lemon chicken which is one of my favorites. It was a full and fun day and we were tired by the time we called it a day. I don't have much for photos this week since I seemed more in meditation mode than taking pictures. A honey bee on a sunflower. Not sure what type of plant this is but the blooming leaf cluster caught my eye. I tried to ignore it but finally the photographer in me had to take a picture. Have a good day. mz. em CURRENT MOON ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "I expect to pass through life but once.
