Rain has finally come. Wednesday and Thursday we had showers. It was not enough to move our rain gauge but the pot holes have water in them. The only thing I notice is that it feels muggy out. Here are a couple of photos I captured:





I've been lucky in walking in that I have been able to get out between showers. The air smells so clean.

People are still driving like crazy and I've heard the sirens of police cars and fire trucks as folks become used to slick roads.

We are supposed to be done with the rain until next week. I can handle this as I know one morning I will wake up and it will be pouring out. Those days are nice too. A day spent reading and drinking hot tea. Mmmm.
