Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.280136 Curiosities served |

For all this time I have been walking my neighborhood I have never seen a rabbit of any age. I would have taken a photo but as soon as the little one heard me he/she headed beneath a bush.
Another of what I did see was a clear view of Hollister Peak off in the distance. Though today is a back to work day, I did get to say hello to three of my neighbors and a wave to one. Walking was hit and miss last week. One due to a day of depression and then because of the holiday. However, I did get three days in and I figure that's not too bad with all that was going on. Here's a photo of a skeeter hawk warming up on our door as I left to go walking on Friday. Skeeter hawks like to eat mosquitoes. If these flying creatures get in the house Bailey the Cat likes to eat them. A chain of nature I guess. Weather wise our high temperature today is 72 and will continue the rest of the week in the low 70s. However, tomorrow and Wednesday the weather people say the low will be at or below freezing. I can feel an extra blanket on the bed those nights. I will need to bring a couple of my plants inside. Today's project is to prepare a turkey pot pie. Mr. F chopped up turkey for me yesterday. All that needs to be done today is to prepare the crust and the gravy filling. Yum! So this is it from the Left Coast for a Monday. mz. em CURRENT MOON ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "I expect to pass through life but once.
