Soon it will be Christmas.

I woke up to a chilly apartment. Mr. F was chilled and snuggled up around me since with having hot flashes, I'm his little heater. Lol. When I checked the thermostat it said it was 60 degrees but it sure didn't feel like it. I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt today.

Walking around the neighborhood, I smell the fragrance of bacon and eggs. Someone has the day off. I spoke with one neighbor enjoying a smoke. I'm glad he keeps it outdoors but I try to stand up wind of him. Cigarette smoke and I do not mix. The moon was high above the horizon and by Wednesday - Christmas Day - will be a waning half moon. I could hear the ocean in the distance. The morning is so peaceful right before a holiday. The only photo I took was of this mailbox. It's weathered design looks like there is an angel on it. Can you see it on the right of the box?

Did anyone see Sunday Night Football on NBC between the Bears and the Eagles? Man, what a boring game. Score: 54 to 11. Needless to say the Bears didn't clinch the NFC North title. I tell you it was a boring game. The Bears couldn't do anything right. For all of the football I watch I was feeling very sorry for the Bears. As bad as the Bears played the Eagles were on top of their game.

It's going to be an easy day around here today. Some puttering around the house, a few errands to run and dinner with a friend.

All-in-all, a nice day.
