Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.280166 Curiosities served |

I was up the usual time - 8:30 a.m. - and was out for my walk. The sun was out and it was cool. I had a long-sleeved T-shirt so once I had walked about a block, I warmed up. Here is a photo of the morning sky: Town seems quieter than usual which is fine with me. Instead of doing my usual stuff, I sat and finished up the book I was reading. I wrote up a letter to the company that made my glucose meter as I have to return my strips and glucose control solution. Plus, I wanted them to see the plastic piece that came out of the battery compartment of the meter. With the letter done, I decided to walk over to the library to make a copy of the letter and return my book and the DVDs we had watched. My how the weather had warmed up since I walked in the morning. Cleaning project for the day was to finish cleaning the counter top. Now all of them are done. A few more things and the kitchen is done. Nine days until the inspection. It's hard to believe this is the last day of the year. So much has happened good and bad. I hope all of my readers had a good year and that next year, 2014, is even better. Thank you for your support by stopping by for a visit. Happy New Year, mz. em, Mr. F and Bailey the Cat "There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy.Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living." -- Jose N. Harris, MI VIDA CURRENT MOON ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again." - William Penn, English entrepreneur and philosopher +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
