Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.280193 Curiosities served |

I can't believe I did it and I found myself feeling a little strange with not coming to the page to write something. But then, it is what it is and it is okay to take a break.
I did get out to walk though. I used my hand weight. This time I did sets like I would if I was in a gym. This was a little bit easier on my arms. Though they do feel sore. Today, I took a break and just brought along my trusty walking stick. In some ways I like my walking stick best as it gives me time to say my prayers and to contemplate. Whereas if I am paying attention to my weight then I find I'm not saying my gratitude list and prayers. Plus, carrying the weight interferes with watching for the photo op moment. Both days have been sunny and T-shirt weather. I don't always think about it but I realized today that with my arms exposed to the sun I am getting my dose of vitamin D. Today, even the post woman who was taking a break stopped me and we had a chat about the weather and how in need we are of rain. Yesterday while walking, I found this item at the end of the dead end street. I didn't realize kids lived down here. We have a free standing hoop in our parking lot. If not after school, on the weekends we can hear the high school boys out playing ball. The sounds I guess could be annoying but I find them comforting. I wonder why this is? Renovation is also going on at this house. I have never seen any home being taken apart like this one. I wonder if there is rot or something else that is icky. Tomorrow if the guys are still working on the home I will ask them what is going on. And just so you know I don't always keep my nose to the road front in of me or side to side, I do look up. Today I saw this beautiful sky. I can't tell if this is contrails or a particular type of cloud. Super Bowl is coming fast upon us. Mr. F and I are talking about food preparation to enjoy during the game and are coming up with a small repast. Then we pondered at what it would cost to actually be at the game. In doing research we came up with this: The average ticket is $3,632.15. The cheapest ticket currently available is for $1,985 and is located in the Upper End Zone Corner Section 348. If you want to be a closer to the action, the lowest priced Mezzanine seat is located in Section 226, and is currently listed at $2,929. For a slight premium, a ticket could be had in Section 149 of the Lower Level at a price of $2,980. Then if you have the big bucks you can sit in the most expensive single seat located in the Lower Club 113, right at midfield and the cost is $29,900. Or if you have 30 or more friends willing to justify this price, the premier suite currently on the market can be had for a price of $1,019,000. Whooo doggies! As much fun as it would be to be at the game, me and the mister are going to enjoy the game at home. The food is cheap and there are no lines to the bathroom. Even Bailey the Cat can enjoy the game from my lap. Oh to dream. Well, must be getting along and prepare something for lunch. mz. em "There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't.
