I feel as if I've just stepped out from some space warp. Everything looks the same, feels the same...but it's different.

I've just gone through one of those mysterious moments where you suddenly realise, I mean, it HITS YOU, that other people are living lives that are just as real as yours is.

The person on your left, seemingly lost in the net too. The person reading your blog from his house, office, wireless connection at some Starbucks. The person you see once a week. They have to face their own terrifyingly real lives. Every day.

Now.

...The reality of it all...

What then makes us think that things can wait for later? That what we do really has no consequence?

It's easy, especially when we're as busy as the world would have us be, to subtly de-humanise (wooo, touchy word) those around us.

It seems that we only have enough of us for us. Period.

And yet we crave attention, affirmation, time and love from these same people that surround us.

Strange...

If only more people would come out and admit this.

In their real lives. (Me included.)

Our terrifyingly real lives.
