I grabbed a tiger by its tail
And found it burning bright,
So I helped the poor great cat to see
Its rear end was alight.

Little thanks did I recieve
Instead he turned to bite
The very hand that saved its rear
I steeled to set things right.

So I ran as fast as deer can run
(Or maybe faster still!)
But a retreat to safety was to be
A move to do me ill.

For there I ran into a bear
And tripped up on her cubs.
The silly mother had left them lying there
big furry, trippy, bubs!

Yet she was quite a sight
On her two back legs
Trying to get my apology
by cracking my head like a cook cracks eggs!

Needless to say I couldn't accede
To her amends
I had a tiger to spank
Nothing contends!

So under I ducked
and ducked well indeed
Into the pond,
With mouth full of weed!

Tiger and bear now close behind
I swam to make like frog in style
to shake their hot pursuit
Lo, then I espied! some help to recruit!
