We're all so frail
I wonder how we think
we're strong.

We think we're right
when half the time
we're wrong.

When we finally see,
we wonder why it took
so long.

In retrospect it
seems so obvious
all along.

That we're frail.

So we fail.

We ail.

Then we

say

dead-end prayers

find

death-bed faith

and hope to live again.

Without wondering
why we died,
to begin.

So we die

again.
