I've taken many walks so far
many more will come
another day another step
yet the journey's not their sum

I've strolled through verdant gardens green
waking from the winter
over baking beaches breaking water
sands which slowly shimmer

yet jade has not crusted over
the wonder of a petal
nor stolen hold of nightly velvet
of duvet in which to settle

today today I'm still alive
another walk to take
memories and phantasies
skipping on a lake
