Sort of. The first draft is done. And, hey, I think that earns me some cheesecake.
An alarmingly large number of people have been after me for some time to put aside for a gosh darn minute the hard-boiled crime novels I'd been working on and write something funny. Something lighter. Something a little more like this blog. When it stopped being just family and friends saying it and started to be colleagues and agents, my listening skills improved.
So there you have it. The first draft of "Suzy Q. Paparazzi" is complete.
Let the rewrites begin.
