Ashley Ream Dispatches from the City of Angels I'm a writer and humorist living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my novel LOSING CLEMENTINE out March 6 from William Morrow. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often. |

2009-02-12 8:02 AM The Break I've known for a little over a week. But I was waiting to get the contract, to read the contract, to sign the contract. I was waiting for someone to chisel it in stone.
It's been chiseled. I've been signed by a literary agency. A really f-ing good one. It's hard, if you're not in publishing, to explain what that means for your career. It's a little like being called up to the major leagues from the farm team. It's not a publishing deal. Those are different. But I just got my uniform, my locker, my number. Now somebody call me up to bat. Read/Post Comments (8) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
